Crewops — Terms of Use
Last updated: 14 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Crewops, an iOS app published by Hawk & Mason Studios. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the app.

What Crewops is
Crewops is a personal planning tool for airline crew. It reads a duty roster you already have, applies a flight-time-limitation rule set you select, and shows you the results, together with a logbook, a document wallet and health planning features. It runs on your device and stores your data there.
What it is not
This section matters more than the rest, so it is written plainly.
- It is not your operator's system of record. Your airline's roster, its crewing system and its operations manual govern your duty. Where Crewops and your operator disagree, your operator is right and you should act on their figure.
- It is not a compliance tool and its rule sets are not certified. The limits are compiled from published regulation and are labelled inside the app as unverified. They may be incomplete, may lag a regulatory change, and do not include derogations, approvals or collective agreements specific to your operator.
- It is not your official logbook. The logbook and its exports are a personal record derived from what you confirm. Keeping an official logbook to the standard your authority requires remains your responsibility.
- It is not a medical device and gives no medical advice. The fatigue indicator, sleep readings, circadian plan, radiation dose estimate and coaching content are informational. They do not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition, and the app never states that anyone is fit or unfit to fly. Decisions about your fitness for duty belong to you and to your operator's processes. Questions about medication, sleep disorders or your medical certificate belong with an aeromedical examiner.
- It is not a reporting channel. Nothing you enter is sent to your airline, your regulator or anyone else. Fatigue reports, safety reports and sickness notifications go through your operator's own system.
Your data and your account
There is no account. Your data is stored on your device and is yours; we do not receive it and cannot recover it for you. You can export it or delete it at any time from inside the app. Because the data lives only on your device, losing the device, deleting the app or resetting the phone deletes the data with it. Keeping your own copy is your responsibility; the app provides the export to make that possible.
Crewops Pro subscription terms
- Crewops Pro is an auto-renewable subscription offered monthly or yearly.
- The current price and period are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency, as supplied by the App Store.
- A free trial is offered at the start where the App Store makes you eligible for it. If you subscribe during a free trial, the unused part of that trial is forfeited when the purchase begins.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage the subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms; we cannot issue them.
- A subscription belongs to the Apple Account that bought it and can be restored on any device signed in with that account.
- Importing a roster, viewing your duties, and keeping and exporting your logbook do not require Pro. We will not put your own records behind a subscription.
Use of the app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Your airline's crew portal
If you use the crew portal import, you confirm that the credentials are your own and that you are permitted to access that system. Crewops sends them to your airline's system and nowhere else. Your access to that system is governed by your airline, not by us, and we are not responsible for its availability, its content or the consequences of your using it.
Liability
Crewops is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on its calculations, from data stored only on a device, or from any decision about duty, rest or fitness taken on the basis of what the app shows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
Changes, termination and governing law
We may update the app and these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and material changes will be flagged in the app. You may stop using Crewops at any time by deleting it. These terms are governed by Turkish law, without affecting mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
